From Earth to Mars: A Symphonic Journey is a programatic work which depicts, in seven movements, an imaginary trip to the planet Mars.
The Overture, which sets the mood for the entire work, presents most of the main themes that will develp throughout the work.
This piece was commissioned by The Kennedy Center/Imagination Celebration of Fort Worth and premiered in Fort Worth, Texas with the TCU Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the composer.
